Visit the Dry Tortugas, Marquesas & Loggerhead Key

Explore Dry Tortugas National Park and Fort Jefferson

Exploring the Dry Tortugas National Park and Fort Jefferson is an unforgettable experience.  We will set you off on a sailing vacation, tailored to your expectations.

The Dry Tortugas and Fort Jefferson are located 70 miles west off Key West.  Since the trip can take about ten hours one way by sail, we recommend a minimum of four nights for your trip.  There are no stores or marinas along the way, so take your time provisioning appropriately.

The Marquesas lie about 30 miles west of Key West and makes a great place to spend your first night on your way to the Dry Tortugas.  You will have plenty of white sandy beaches to walk, explore, and swim here.

Visiting the impressive Fort Jefferson on Garden Key is unforgettable and a tour is highly recommended.

If time allows, there are several other beautiful keys and islands in the Dry Tortugas. Loggerhead Key is especially beautiful with it’s historic Lighthouse and sandy trails. You will also find the best diving and snorkeling between the coral reefs and long gone shipwrecks in this area.

If time doesn’t allow, we will head back to Key West, stopping one more time for your last anchorage at the Marquesas for some more paddleboarding, fishing, or relaxing.
