Explore Dry Tortugas National Park and Fort Jefferson by Sailboat
Exploring the Dry Tortugas National Park and Fort Jefferson is an unforgettable vacation experience. We will set you off on a sailing catamaran trip, tailored to your expectations.
The Dry Tortugas and Fort Jefferson are located 70 miles west of Key West. Since the trip takes about ten hours one way by sail, we recommend minimum of four nights round trip. There are no stores or marinas along the way, so take your time provisioning appropriately.
The Marquesas lie about 30 nautical miles west of Key West and make a great place to spend your first night on your way to the Dry Tortugas. You will have plenty of white sandy beaches to walk, explore, and swim here.
Touring Fort Jefferson on Garden Key is an unforgettable experience and highly recommended.
If time allows, we will explore one of several other beautiful keys and islands in the Dry Tortugas. If time doesn’t allow, we will head back to Key West, stopping one more time at anchor at the Marquesas, for some more paddleboarding, fishing, and relaxing.
